I personally use social media to explore and connect with new people and places. However, I try my best to practice what I preach and be mindful with my usage.

  • Alta Via translates to 'High Route' in Italian. The term is usually applied to long distance routes that take many days to complete and which go through high mountain terrain.

My husband and I set out on the Alta Via n.1 in 2023 in the Dolomite mountain range to experience incredible scenery, physical and mental challenge, and a taste of other cultures. Proper food and fueling was essential to equip our bodies with the energy to conquer the multi-day trek.

Hiking the Alta Via was transformative and awe-inspiring. It was an opportunity to disconnect from the grind, to reconnect with my own body and brain, and challenge myself immensely. The experience served as a springboard for me to pursue a passion of supporting people around the world in their journey to better health.
